The second Formal Public Consultation for Application Ref No: FS006859 is now closed but documents can still be viewed
The Foreshore Licence Application is for site investigations to inform the engineering and design of a potential offshore wind farm and associated export cable route off the coasts of Waterford and Cork.
The Public Consultation was open from the 10th of November 2022 until the 9th of December 2022.
All documentation was displayed free of charge at the following locations
- Cork County Council, Municipal District Office, Youghal: Mall House, Youghal Lands, Youghal, Co. Cork. 9am-4.30pm Mon to Fri.
- Cork County Council, Municipal District Office, Midleton: Youghal Rd., Park South, Midleton, Co. Cork. 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm Mon to Fri.
- Anglesea Street Garda Station, Ballintemple, Cork City. Open 24hrs.
- Midleton Garda Station, Oliver Plunkett Place, Midleton, Co. Cork. Open 24hrs.
- Youghal Garda Station, O’Brien’s Place, Youghal, Co. Cork. Open 10am–1pm daily.

Important Note:
As a result of feedback received from the first public consultation for Inis Ealga Marine Energy park, DP Energy narrowed it survey area to exclude the ‘Dungarvan/Waterford’ leg and submitted an additional Foreshore Licence Application for a ‘Youghal’ leg. Foreshore Licence Application Number FS007404 which went to public consultation from 21st October 2021 and 19th November 2021.
Because this second public consultation is a continuation of the original Inis Ealga Marine Energy Park Foreshore Licence (FS006859) we must use the original foreshore licence application map that was submitted in 2019 as seen below:
